Bertram Weiß works as a journalist and GEO editor on research and science. His work has been supported by foundations or awarded prizes many times, including the Georg von Holtzbrinck Prize for Science Journalism and the German Reporter Award. In a creative team with Jakob Vicari and Astrid Csuraji, he experiments in the media innovation lab tactile.news and develops new journalistic formats, such as the projects "#bienenlive" and "Die Superkühe" on behalf of WDR.

Due to COVID-19, the Journalism of Things Conference 2021 will take place via Zoom. Participants will receive access details by email. There are two types of ticket: Basic Ticket, which entitles you to use all streams; or Plus Ticket, where holders get a hardware package with which they can immediately start tinkering in the workshops.
